One of our owners was able to fly a CTLS in New Zealand when he was down there on a visit. – Darryl connected with Tim Harrison who flies out of Kaipara Flats Airfield, NZKF – a small grass airstrip airport near Warkworth – about 40km north of Auckland.
He flew over beautiful country for about an hour and was able to log flight time in New Zealand.
I flew the plane most of the time while Tim sat in the right seat. We switched controls occasionally. At one point he took the controls and we surfed along the beach.Thanks for helping set this up. I may see you at Sun N Fun or Oshkosh. I plan to go to one or the other. I haven’t decided yet which one.
