Last week Tim and I flew the new CLSi for a two hour endurance test. This is the first fuel injected Rotax 912 and we were very pleasantly surprised by its performance. At a TAS of 100 KTS , and with two persons on board the average fuel burn per hours was between 11 and 13 liters. This is a big improvement over the conventional 912 Rotax and must be a welcome development with the fuel prices as they are.
