Flight Design actively promoted our company and new products at Sun ‘n Fun 2012, which was held March 27-April 1 at Lakeland, Florida.
At Flight Design’s press conference, Matthias Betsch and Tom Peghiny briefed the media on the new CTLSi featuring the much-anticipated fuel-injected Rotax 912iS engine with 21% better fuel economy over the carbureted 912S, the new P2 Flight School program, progress on the exciting C4’s development and an overall view of the global market….which happily shows real signs of recovery in 2012! This year, Flight Design’s display area at Sun ‘n Fun moved alongside other large aircraft manufacturers such as Piper, Pilatus, Cessna, Beechcraft and Daher-Socata and featured the C4 full-scale mock-up, a CTLS on amphibious floats, a CTLE Law Enforcement model and the best-selling CTLS.
Sun ‘n Fun 2012 was highly successful for Flight Design and is an excellent indication of better things to come in 2012!
